1. Who is responsible
Data controller
Hannah Schlößer, Seehalde 5, 88149 Nonnenhorn, Germany
Email: hannah@saltclosing.com
2. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies. It uses no local storage, no session storage, and no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Typefaces are hosted on our own server, so no request is made to Google or any other third party to load them. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, no cookie consent banner is required under § 25 TDDDG.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 2325 3rd Street, Suite 215, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Netlify automatically collects server log data, including your IP address, which is technically necessary to deliver the site reliably and securely. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure presentation of the website). Personal data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Netlify, Inc. is certified, and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Processing on our behalf takes place under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, which forms part of Netlify's terms.
4. What the diagnostic collects
The Sales Motion Health Check works in three steps, and processes the following personal data:
- Your answers. The multiple-choice answers you select, and the free-text answers you type during your conversation with the AI assistant.
- Your contact details. To unlock your results we ask for your name, your company, and your email address.
- Your result. The score, band, and summary notes generated from your answers.
5. The AI assistant (OpenAI)
Part of this diagnostic is a conversation with an AI assistant. You are interacting with an AI system, not with a person. To generate the assistant's replies and your final result, your multiple-choice answers and the full text of your conversation are transmitted to OpenAI and processed by an OpenAI language model.
Provider: OpenAI Ireland Ltd., Dublin, Ireland. We have concluded a data processing agreement with OpenAI Ireland Ltd. pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Where OpenAI transfers data onward to its affiliates in the United States in order to deliver the service, it does so on the basis of agreements containing the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Data sent through OpenAI's API is not used to train or improve OpenAI's models. OpenAI retains API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and then deletes them, unless they are legally required to retain them for longer.
OpenAI engages sub-processors to help deliver the service. The current list is published at platform.openai.com/subprocessors.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — the processing is necessary in order to provide the diagnostic you have asked us to produce.
Please do not enter confidential information, trade secrets, or personal data about other people into the conversation. The diagnostic does not need it, and you should not share it.
6. Storing your results and your conversation
When you unlock your results, we store your name, company, email address, your answers, the full transcript of your conversation with the AI assistant, and your generated score and summary. This is handled by Netlify Forms, under the same hosting terms and transfer safeguards described in section 3.
We store this for two purposes. First, to produce and deliver the results you requested — legal basis Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Second, so that Hannah can read your diagnostic beforehand and assess whether SALT would be a good fit for you, rather than starting from a blank page on a call — legal basis Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in understanding enquiries, and yours in a better-prepared conversation). You may object to this second purpose at any time under Art. 21 GDPR by emailing hannah@saltclosing.com.
We keep this data for up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
7. Email follow-up (only if you opt in)
When you unlock your results you may tick a box allowing Hannah to email you about your results and how SALT could help. This is entirely optional and is not a condition of receiving your results. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, by emailing hannah@saltclosing.com or using the unsubscribe link in any message. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.
8. No automated decisions about you
Your score is generated automatically from your own answers and is provided for information only. It does not produce any legal effect concerning you and does not similarly significantly affect you. No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
9. Your rights
You have the right at any time to: request access to your personal data; have it rectified; have it erased; have its processing restricted; object to processing based on legitimate interest; withdraw consent you have given; receive your data in a portable format; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email hannah@saltclosing.com.
10. Security
For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption.
